Surah Al-Ankaboot: Verse 6 - ومن جاهد فإنما يجاهد لنفسه... - English

Tafsir of Verse 6, Surah Al-Ankaboot

وَمَن جَٰهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَٰهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿6﴾

Display verse 6, Surah Al-Ankaboot in the Quran

English Translation

And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. (6)

English Transliteration

Waman jahada fainnama yujahidu linafsihi inna Allaha laghaniyyun AAani alAAalameena (6)

Tafsir of Verse 6

Whosoever struggles, struggles only to his own gain; surely God is All-sufficient nor needs any being. (6)

And if any strive (with might and main), they do so for their own souls: for Allah is free of all needs from all creation. (6)
