Tafsir of Verse 2, Surah Al-Hadid

لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ﴿2﴾

Display verse 2, Surah Al-Hadid in the Quran

English Translation

His is the dominion of the heavens and earth. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent. (2)

English Transliteration

Lahu mulku alssamawati waalardi yuhyee wayumeetu wahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeerun (2)

Tafsir of Verse 2

To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life, and He makes to die, and He is powerful over everything. (2)

To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: It is He Who gives Life and Death; and He has Power over all things. (2)
