Surah Al-Kahf: Verse 59 - وتلك القرى أهلكناهم لما ظلموا... - English

Tafsir of Verse 59, Surah Al-Kahf

وَتِلْكَ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا۟ وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًا ﴿59﴾

Display verse 59, Surah Al-Kahf in the Quran

English Translation

And those cities - We destroyed them when they wronged, and We made for their destruction an appointed time. (59)

English Transliteration

Watilka alqura ahlaknahum lamma thalamoo wajaAAalna limahlikihim mawAAidan (59)

Tafsir of Verse 59

And those cities, We destroyed them when they did evil, and appointed for their destruction a tryst. (59)

Such were the populations we destroyed when they committed iniquities; but we fixed an appointed time for their destruction. (59)
