Tafsir of Verse 141, Surah Aal-i-Imraan

وَلِيُمَحِّصَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَيَمْحَقَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ﴿141﴾

Display verse 141, Surah Aal-i-Imraan in the Quran

English Translation

And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers. (141)

English Transliteration

Waliyumahhisa Allahu allatheena amanoo wayamhaqa alkafireena (141)

Tafsir of Verse 141

and that God may prove the believers, and blot out the unbelievers. (141)

Allah's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing Those that resist Faith. (141)
