English Translation
Woe to every scorner and mockerEnglish Transliteration
Waylun likulli humazatin lumazatin
Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter,
English Translation
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it.English Transliteration
Allathee jamaAAa malan waAAaddadahu
Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by,
English Translation
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal.English Transliteration
Yahsabu anna malahu akhladahu
Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever!
English Translation
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher.English Transliteration
Kalla layunbathanna fee alhutamati
By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces,
English Translation
And what can make you know what is the Crusher?English Transliteration
Wama adraka ma alhutamatu
And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces?
English Translation
It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled,English Transliteration
Naru Allahi almooqadatu
(It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze),

Which mounts directed at the hearts.English Transliteration
Allatee tattaliAAu AAala alafidati
The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts:

Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon themEnglish Transliteration
lnnaha AAalayhim musadatun
It shall be made into a vault over them,
