Surah Al-Anbiyaa: Verse 15 - فما زالت تلك دعواهم حتى... - English

Tafsir of Verse 15, Surah Al-Anbiyaa

فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ ﴿15﴾

Display verse 15, Surah Al-Anbiyaa in the Quran

English Translation

And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire]. (15)

English Transliteration

Fama zalat tilka daAAwahum hatta jaAAalnahum haseedan khamideena (15)

Tafsir of Verse 15

So they ceased not to cry, until We made them stubble, silent and still. (15)

And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is mown, as ashes silent and quenched. (15)
