Surah Al-Anbiyaa
سُورَةُ الأَنبِيَاءِ
Page 331 (Verses from 102 to 112)
لَا يَسْمَعُونَ حَسِيسَهَا ۖ وَهُمْ فِى مَا ٱشْتَهَتْ أَنفُسُهُمْ خَٰلِدُونَ
لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ ٱلْفَزَعُ ٱلْأَكْبَرُ وَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
يَوْمَ نَطْوِى ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَىِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلْكُتُبِ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأْنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُّعِيدُهُۥ ۚ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ
وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِى ٱلزَّبُورِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلذِّكْرِ أَنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِىَ ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ
إِنَّ فِى هَٰذَا لَبَلَٰغًا لِّقَوْمٍ عَٰبِدِينَ
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ ءَاذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍ ۖ وَإِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ
إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ
وَإِنْ أَدْرِى لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
قَٰلَ رَبِّ ٱحْكُم بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ

Tafsir of Surah Al-Anbiyaa (Yusuf Ali: Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
English Translation
They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.English Transliteration
La yasmaAAoona haseesaha wahum fee ma ishtahat anfusuhum khalidoona
Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell.
English Translation
They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" -English Transliteration
La yahzunuhumu alfazaAAu alakbaru watatalaqqahumu almalaikatu hatha yawmukumu allathee kuntum tooAAadoona
The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised."
English Translation
The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.English Transliteration
Yawma natwee alssamaa katayyi alssijlli lilkutubi kama badana awwala khalqin nuAAeeduhu waAAdan AAalayna inna kunna faAAileena
The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it.
English Translation
And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.English Transliteration
Walaqad katabna fee alzzaboori min baAAdi alththikri anna alarda yarithuha AAibadiya alssalihoona
Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth."
English Translation
Indeed, in this [Qur\'an] is notification for a worshipping people.English Transliteration
Inna fee hatha labalaghan liqawmin AAabideena
Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah.
English Translation
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.English Transliteration
Wama arsalnaka illa rahmatan lilAAalameena
We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures.
English Translation
Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?"English Transliteration
Qul innama yooha ilayya annama ilahukum ilahun wahidun fahal antum muslimoona
Say: "What has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is One Allah: will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?"
English Translation
But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.English Transliteration
Fain tawallaw faqul athantukum AAala sawain wain adree aqareebun am baAAeedun ma tooAAadoona
But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far.
English Translation
Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal.English Transliteration
Innahu yaAAlamu aljahra mina alqawli wayaAAlamu ma taktumoona
"It is He Who knows what is open in speech and what ye hide (in your hearts).
English Translation
And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time."English Transliteration
Wain adree laAAallahu fitnatun lakum wamataAAun ila heenin
"I know not but that it may be a trial for you, and a grant of (worldly) livelihood (to you) for a time."
English Translation
[The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe."English Transliteration
Qala rabbi ohkum bialhaqqi warabbuna alrrahmanu almustaAAanu AAala ma tasifoona
Say: "O my Lord! judge Thou in truth!" "Our Lord Most Gracious is the One Whose assistance should be sought against the blasphemies ye utter!"
