Tafsir of Verse 139, Surah Al-A'raaf

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَّا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَٰطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿139﴾

Display verse 139, Surah Al-A'raaf in the Quran

English Translation

Indeed, those [worshippers] - destroyed is that in which they are [engaged], and worthless is whatever they were doing." (139)

English Transliteration

Inna haolai mutabbarun ma hum feehi wabatilun ma kanoo yaAAmaloona (139)

Tafsir of Verse 139

Surely this they are engaged upon shall be shattered, and void is what they have been doing.' (139)

"As to these folk,- the cult they are in is (but) a fragment of a ruin, and vain is the (worship) which they practise." (139)
