Surah Al-Baqara: Verse 103 - ولو أنهم آمنوا واتقوا لمثوبة... - English
Tafsir of Verse 103, Surah Al-Baqara
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَمَثُوبَةٌ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ ۖ لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
English Translation
And if they had believed and feared Allah, then the reward from Allah would have been [far] better, if they only knew.English Transliteration
Walaw annahum amanoo waittaqaw lamathoobatun min AAindi Allahi khayrun law kanoo yaAAlamoonaTafsir of Verse 103
Yet had they believed, and been godfearing, a recompense from God had been better, if they had but known.
If they had kept their Faith and guarded themselves from evil, far better had been the reward from their Lord, if they but knew!
