Tafsir of Verse 207, Surah Al-Baqara
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْرِى نَفْسَهُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ
English Translation
And of the people is he who sells himself, seeking means to the approval of Allah. And Allah is kind to [His] servants.English Transliteration
Wamina alnnasi man yashree nafsahu ibtighaa mardati Allahi waAllahu raoofun bialAAibadiTafsir of Verse 207
But other men there are that sell themselves desiring God's good pleasure; and God is gentle with His servants.
And there is the type of man who gives his life to earn the pleasure of Allah: And Allah is full of kindness to (His) devotees.
