Tafsir of Verse 44, Surah Al-Furqaan

أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا ﴿44﴾

Display verse 44, Surah Al-Furqaan in the Quran

English Translation

Or do you think that most of them hear or reason? They are not except like livestock. Rather, they are [even] more astray in [their] way. (44)

English Transliteration

Am tahsabu anna aktharahum yasmaAAoona aw yaAAqiloona in hum illa kaalanAAami bal hum adallu sabeelan (44)

Tafsir of Verse 44

Or deemest thou that most of them hear or understand? They are but as the cattle; nay, they are further astray from the way. (44)

Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle;- nay, they are worse astray in Path. (44)
