Tafsir of Verse 19, Surah Al-Infitaar

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ ﴿19﴾

Display verse 19, Surah Al-Infitaar in the Quran

English Translation

It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. (19)

English Transliteration

Yawma la tamliku nafsun linafsin shayan waalamru yawmaithin lillahi (19)

Tafsir of Verse 19

A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. (19)

(It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. (19)
