Tafsir of Verse 58, Surah Al-Maaida
وَإِذَا نَادَيْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱتَّخَذُوهَا هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُونَ
English Translation
And when you call to prayer, they take it in ridicule and amusement. That is because they are a people who do not use reason.English Transliteration
Waitha nadaytum ila alssalati ittakhathooha huzuwan walaAAiban thalika biannahum qawmun la yaAAqiloonaTafsir of Verse 58
and when you call to prayer, take it in mockery and as a sport; that is because they are a people who have no understanding.
When ye proclaim your call to prayer they take it (but) as mockery and sport; that is because they are a people without understanding.
