Tafsir of Verse 36, Surah Al-Waaqia
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا
English Translation
And made them virgins,English Transliteration
FajaAAalnahunna abkaranTafsir of Verse 36
and We made them spotless virgins,
And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), -
أَبْكَارًا - 56:36). The word abkaran, being the plural of bikr, means 'virgins'. The sense is the creation of the maidens of Paradise will be of such a nature that, even after every sexual intercourse, they will remain like virgins.
