Tafsir of Verse 85, Surah An-Nahl

وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ ﴿85﴾

Display verse 85, Surah An-Nahl in the Quran

English Translation

And when those who wronged see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved. (85)

English Transliteration

Waitha raa allatheena thalamoo alAAathaba fala yukhaffafu AAanhum wala hum yuntharoona (85)

Tafsir of Verse 85

And when the evildoers behold the chastisement, it shall not be lightened for them, and no respite shall be given them. (85)

When the wrong-doers (actually) see the Penalty, then will it in no way be mitigated, nor will they then receive respite. (85)
