Tafsir of Verse 52, Surah An-Najm

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىٰ ﴿52﴾

Display verse 52, Surah An-Najm in the Quran

English Translation

And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. (52)

English Transliteration

Waqawma noohin min qablu innahum kanoo hum athlama waatgha (52)

Tafsir of Verse 52

and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent (52)

And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, (52)
