Tafsir of Verse 8, Surah As-Saaffaat

لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ ﴿8﴾

Display verse 8, Surah As-Saaffaat in the Quran

English Translation

[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side, (8)

English Transliteration

La yassammaAAoona ila almalai alaAAla wayuqthafoona min kulli janibin (8)

Tafsir of Verse 8

they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, (8)

(So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, (8)
