Surah Ash-Shams: Verse 7 - ونفس وما سواها... - English

By the Soul, and the proportion and order given to it; (7)

وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا (and by the soul, and the One who made it well,...91:7) If, in this phrase, the particle ma is taken to function as infinitival particle, it signifies 'by the human soul and its perfection'.
