Tafsir of Verse 45, Surah Ash-Shu'araa

فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ ﴿45﴾

English Translation

Then Moses threw his staff, and at once it devoured what they falsified. (45)

English Transliteration

Faalqa moosa AAasahu faitha hiya talqafu ma yafikoona (45)

Tafsir of Verse 45

Then Moses cast his staff and lo, it forthwith swallowed up their lying invention; (45)

Then Moses threw his rod, when, behold, it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake! (45)
