Tafsir of Verse 31, Surah Ash-Shura

وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ ﴿31﴾

Display verse 31, Surah Ash-Shura in the Quran

English Translation

And you will not cause failure [to Allah] upon the earth. And you have not besides Allah any protector or helper. (31)

English Transliteration

Wama antum bimuAAjizeena fee alardi wama lakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin (31)

Tafsir of Verse 31

You are not able to frustrate Him in the earth; and, apart from God, you have neither protector nor helper. (31)

Nor can ye frustrate (aught), (fleeing) through the earth; nor have ye, besides Allah, any one to protect or to help. (31)
