Surah Az-Zukhruf: Verse 8 - فأهلكنا أشد منهم بطشا ومضى... - English

Tafsir of Verse 8, Surah Az-Zukhruf

فَأَهْلَكْنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿8﴾

Display verse 8, Surah Az-Zukhruf in the Quran

English Translation

And We destroyed greater than them in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded. (8)

English Transliteration

Faahlakna ashadda minhum batshan wamada mathalu alawwaleena (8)

Tafsir of Verse 8

so We destroyed men stronger in valour than they, and the example of the ancients passed away. (8)

So We destroyed (them)- stronger in power than these;- and (thus) has passed on the Parable of the peoples of old. (8)
