Tafsir of Verse 79, Surah Hud
قَالُوا۟ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا لَنَا فِى بَنَاتِكَ مِنْ حَقٍّ وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعْلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ
English Translation
They said, "You have already known that we have not concerning your daughters any claim, and indeed, you know what we want."English Transliteration
Qaloo laqad AAalimta ma lana fee banatika min haqqin wainnaka lataAAlamu ma nureeduTafsir of Verse 79
They said, 'Thou knowest we have no right to thy daughters, and thou well knowest what we desire.'
They said: "Well dost thou know we have no need of thy daughters: indeed thou knowest quite well what we want!"
