Tafsir of Verse 9, Surah Maryam

قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْـًٔا ﴿9﴾

Display verse 9, Surah Maryam in the Quran

English Translation

[An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, \'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.\' " (9)

English Transliteration

Qala kathalika qala rabbuka huwa AAalayya hayyinun waqad khalaqtuka min qablu walam taku shayan (9)

Tafsir of Verse 9

Said He, 'So it shall be; thy Lord says, "Easy is that for Me, seeing that I created thee aforetime, when thou wast nothing."' (9)

He said: "So (it will be) thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: I did indeed create thee before, when thou hadst been nothing!'" (9)
