Tafsir of Verse 42, Surah Yunus

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ ۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿42﴾

Display verse 42, Surah Yunus in the Quran

English Translation

And among them are those who listen to you. But can you cause the deaf to hear, although they will not use reason? (42)

English Transliteration

Waminhum man yastamiAAoona ilayka afaanta tusmiAAu alssumma walaw kanoo la yaAAqiloona (42)

Tafsir of Verse 42

And some of them give ear to thee; what, wilt thou make the deaf to hear, though they understand not? (42)

Among them are some who (pretend to) listen to thee: But canst thou make the deaf to hear,- even though they are without understanding? (42)
