Surah Yusuf: Verse 82 - واسأل القرية التي كنا فيها... - English

Tafsir of Verse 82, Surah Yusuf

وَسْـَٔلِ ٱلْقَرْيَةَ ٱلَّتِى كُنَّا فِيهَا وَٱلْعِيرَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا ۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ ﴿82﴾

Display verse 82, Surah Yusuf in the Quran

English Translation

And ask the city in which we were and the caravan in which we came - and indeed, we are truthful," (82)

English Transliteration

Waisali alqaryata allatee kunna feeha waalAAeera allatee aqbalna feeha wainna lasadiqoona (82)

Tafsir of Verse 82

Enquire of the city wherein we were, and the caravan in which we approached; surely we are truthful men".' (82)

"'Ask at the town where we have been and the caravan in which we returned, and (you will find) we are indeed telling the truth.'" (82)
