Surah Ad-Dukhaan: Verse 28 - كذلك ۖ وأورثناها قوما آخرين... - English
Tafsir of Verse 28, Surah Ad-Dukhaan
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
English Translation
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people.English Transliteration
Kathalika waawrathnaha qawman akhareenaTafsir of Verse 28
Even so; and We bequeathed them upon another people.
Thus (was their end)! And We made other people inherit (those things)!
وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ And We made other people inherit all this." (44:28) In Surah Shu'ara', it is explicitly stated that 'other people' refers to the Children of Israel. It is objected that there is no historical evidence to show that the Children of Israel ever settled again in Egypt. This objection has been rebutted in Surah Shu` ara'.
