أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ ﴿53﴾

English Translation

Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. (53)

English Transliteration

Atawasaw bihi bal hum qawmun taghoona (53)

Tafsir of Verse 53

What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. (53)

Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! (53)
