Tafsir of Verse 98, Surah Al-A'raaf

أَوَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا ضُحًى وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ ﴿98﴾

Display verse 98, Surah Al-A'raaf in the Quran

English Translation

Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play? (98)

English Transliteration

Awa amina ahlu alqura an yatiyahum basuna duhan wahum yalAAaboona (98)

Tafsir of Verse 98

Do the people of the cities feel secure Our might shall not come upon them in daylight while they are playing? (98)

Or else did they feel secure against its coming in broad daylight while they played about (care-free)? (98)
