And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts. (13)

Waasirroo qawlakum awi ijharoo bihi innahu AAaleemun bitha ti al ss udoori (13)

Be secret in your speech, or proclaim it, He knows the thoughts within the breasts. (13)
English Translation
Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted? (14)

Ala yaAAlamu man khalaqa wahuwa allat eefu alkhabeeru (14)

Shall He not know, who created? And He is the All-subtle, the All-aware. (14)
English Translation
It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection. (15)
English Transliteration
Huwa allath ee jaAAala lakumu alard a th aloolan fai mshoo fee mana kibiha wakuloo min rizqihi wailayhi al nnushooru (15)

It is He who made the earth submissive to you; therefore walk in its tracts, and eat of His provision; to Him is the Uprising. (15)
English Translation
Do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway? (16)
English Transliteration
Aamintum man fee al ssama i an yakhsifa bikumu alard a faitha hiya tamooru (16)

Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you, the while it rocks? (16)
English Translation
Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning. (17)
English Transliteration
Am amintum man fee al ssama i an yursila AAalaykum has iban fasataAAlamoona kayfa nath eeri (17)

Do you feel secure that He who is in heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles, then you shall know how My warning is? (17)
English Translation
And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach. (18)

Walaqad kathth aba allath eena min qablihim fakayfa ka na nakeeri (18)

Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror! (18)
English Translation
Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing. (19)

Awalam yaraw ila al tt ayri fawqahum sa ffa tin wayaqbid na ma yumsikuhunna illa al rrah ma nu innahu bikulli shayin bas eerun (19)

Have they not regarded the birds above them spreading their wings, and closing them? Naught holds them but the All-merciful. Surely He sees everything. (19)
English Translation
Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion. (20)

Amman hatha allath ee huwa jundun lakum yans urukum min dooni al rrah ma ni ini alka firoona illa fee ghuroorin (20)

Or who is this that shall be a host for you to help you, apart from the All-merciful? The unbelievers are only in delusion. (20)
English Translation
Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion. (21)

Amman hatha allath ee yarzuqukum in amsaka rizqahu bal lajjoo fee AAutuwwin wanufoorin (21)

Or who is this that shall provide for you if He withholds His provision? No, but they persist in disdain and aversion. (21)

Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path? (22)
English Transliteration
Afaman yamshee mukibban AAala wajhihi ahda amman yamshee sawiyyan AAala s irat in mustaqeemin (22)

What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? (22)
English Translation
Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful." (23)
English Transliteration
Qul huwa allath ee anshaakum wajaAAala lakumu al ssamAAa waa labsa ra waa lafidata qaleelan ma tashkuroona (23)

Say: 'It is He who produced you, and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts; little thanks you show!' (23)
English Translation
Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered." (24)

Qul huwa allath ee th araakum fee alard i wailayhi tuh sharoona (24)

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?" (25)
