Tafsir of Verse 29, Surah Al-Waaqia
وَطَلْحٍ مَّنضُودٍ
English Translation
And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]English Transliteration
Watalhin mandoodinTafsir of Verse 29
and serried acacias,
Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,-
وَطَلْحٍ مَّنضُودٍ (and the trees of tulh, having layers one upon the other - 28:29). The word talh refers to 'banana tree' and mandud means 'clustered', fruits piled on top of each other as in a bunch of bananas.
