Tafsir of Verse 57, Surah Ar-Room

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَعْذِرَتُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ ﴿57﴾

Display verse 57, Surah Ar-Room in the Quran

English Translation

So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah]. (57)

English Transliteration

Fayawmaithin la yanfaAAu allatheena thalamoo maAAthiratuhum wala hum yustaAAtaboona (57)

Tafsir of Verse 57

So that day their excuses will not profit the evildoers, nor will they be suffered to make amends. (57)

So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance). (57)
