Surah As-Saaffaat: Verse 35 - إنهم كانوا إذا قيل لهم... - English
Tafsir of Verse 35, Surah As-Saaffaat
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
English Translation
Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogantEnglish Transliteration
Innahum kanoo itha qeela lahum la ilaha illa Allahu yastakbiroonaTafsir of Verse 35
for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud,
For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride,
