Tafsir of Verse 71, Surah As-Saaffaat

وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿71﴾

And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, (71)

Walaqad dalla qablahum aktharu alawwaleena (71)

Before them erred most of the ancients, (71)

And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;- (71)

فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ إِلاَّ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ

(Then see what was the end of those who were warned. Except the chosen servants of Allah).
