Tafsir of Verse 139, Surah Ash-Shu'araa

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿139﴾

Display verse 139, Surah Ash-Shu'araa in the Quran

English Translation

And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. (139)

English Transliteration

Fakaththaboohu faahlaknahum inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena (139)

Tafsir of Verse 139

So they cried him lies; then We destroyed them. Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. (139)

So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. (139)
