فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِّلْءَاخِرِينَ ﴿56﴾

English Translation

And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples. (56)

English Transliteration

FajaAAalnahum salafan wamathalan lilakhireena (56)

and We made them a thing past, and We appointed them for an example to later folk. (56)

And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages. (56)
