Tafsir of Verse 50, Surah Az-Zumar

قَدْ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ ﴿50﴾

Display verse 50, Surah Az-Zumar in the Quran

English Translation

Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn. (50)

English Transliteration

Qad qalaha allatheena min qablihim fama aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yaksiboona (50)

Tafsir of Verse 50

So said those that were before them; but that they earned did not avail them, (50)

Thus did the (generations) before them say! But all that they did was of no profit to them. (50)
