وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا ﴿92﴾

Display verse 92, Surah Maryam in the Quran

English Translation

And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. (92)

English Transliteration

Wama yanbaghee lilrrahmani an yattakhitha waladan (92)

Tafsir of Verse 92

and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. (92)

For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. (92)
