Woe, that Day, to the deniers, (10)

Waylun yawmaith in lilmukathth ibeena (10)

Woe that day unto those who cry it lies, (10)

Who deny the Day of Recompense. (11)

Allath eena yukathth iboona biyawmi al ddeeni (11)

who cry lies to the Day of Doom; (11)

And none deny it except every sinful transgressor. (12)

Wama yukathth ibu bihi illa kullu muAAtadin atheemin (12)

When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples." (13)

Itha tutla AAalayhi a ya tuna qa la asat eeru alawwaleena (13)

When our signs are recited to him, he says, 'Fairy-tales of the ancients!' (13)
English Translation
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning. (14)

Kalla bal ra na AAala quloobihim ma ka noo yaksiboona (14)

No indeed; but that they were earning has rusted upon their hearts. (14)
English Translation
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned. (15)
English Transliteration
Kalla innahum AAan rabbihim yawmaith in lamah jooboona (15)

No indeed; but upon that day they shall be veiled from their Lord, (15)

Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. (16)

Thumma innahum lasa loo aljah eemi (16)

then they shall roast in Hell. (16)

Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny." (17)

Thumma yuqa lu hatha allath ee kuntum bihi tukathth iboona (17)

Then it shall be said to them, 'This is that you cried lies to.' (17)

No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in \'illiyyun. (18)

Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure (22)

You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure. (24)

They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed. (25)

Yusqawna min rah eeqin makhtoomin (25)

The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete. (26)

Khita muhu miskun wafee tha lika falyatana fasi almutana fisoona (26)

And its mixture is of Tasneem, (27)

Wamiza juhu min tasneemin (27)

A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink. (28)

AAaynan yashrabu biha almuqarraboona (28)

a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh. (28)

Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. (29)

Inna allath eena ajramoo ka noo mina allath eena a manoo yadh akoona (29)

Behold, the sinners were laughing at the believers, (29)

And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. (30)

Waitha marroo bihim yatagha mazoona (30)

And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting. (31)

Waitha inqalaboo ila ahlihimu inqalaboo fakiheena (31)

And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." (32)

Waitha raawhum qa loo inna ha ola i lada lloona (32)

But they had not been sent as guardians over them. (33)

Wama orsiloo AAalayhim ha fith eena (33)

So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers, (34)
