Tafsir of Verse 30, Surah As-Saaffaat

وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ ۖ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَٰغِينَ ﴿30﴾

Display verse 30, Surah As-Saaffaat in the Quran

English Translation

And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. (30)

English Transliteration

Wama kana lana AAalaykum min sultanin bal kuntum qawman tagheena (30)

Tafsir of Verse 30

we had no authority over you; no, you were an insolent people. (30)

"Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! (30)
