Surah At-Tur: Verse 23 - يتنازعون فيها كأسا لا لغو... - English

Tafsir of Verse 23, Surah At-Tur

يَتَنَٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَّا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ ﴿23﴾

Display verse 23, Surah At-Tur in the Quran

English Translation

They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin. (23)

English Transliteration

YatanazaAAoona feeha kasan la laghwun feeha wala tatheemun (23)

Tafsir of Verse 23

while they pass therein a cup one to another wherein is no idle talk, no cause of sin, (23)

They shall there exchange, one with another, a (loving) cup free of frivolity, free of all taint of ill. (23)
